ITV London Tonight

I like the Afternoon bulletin today, it was with Shulie Ghosh, and she sais... " Good Afternoon, im Shulie Ghosh, this is London Tonight! ", then straight after the London Today dog popped up!

Keir Simmons made an appearance on the national news this evening, reporting live from Heathrow.

I noticed he was also on the ITV News Channel about half an hour before he was on ITV1, I take it he was also reporting for London Tonight?

I take it the whole Asian Earthquake has made the headlines in alot of regions, as it was the Top Story on the BBC and ITV in the North West.

Yes it was the lead on Meridian South where I am at the moment.

Just out of interest, how often has Liz Wickham appeared as a presenter of LT since they moved to Gray's Inn Road? Just seen her on tonights show.

She appears quite often on the weekday daytime bulletins - particularly the mid-morning one - but also the lunchtime bulletin maybe once or twice a fortnight.

I got quite a shock when I saw her pop up just now! I remember when she used to co-present TVS's Coast to Coast with Mike Debens from Maidstone.

Ben Scotchbrook (ex Five News) seems to have replaced Keir Simmons as London life correspondent.

Has Keir been promoted full-time to the national news?

And who was the reporter in Phuket who did the lead package? He was familiar (also ex-Five?) but I didn't catch the name.

Are you referring to Steve Scott

No - I only saw the end of the package, but he was on a boat.

Keir may have gone over to the national news to replace that reporter can't remeber her name thats defected to Sky FIVE NEWS
