ITV London Tonight

I'm a little suprised that noone has comment on Felicity Barr presenting London Tonight with Alastair on Monday evening.

I have a suspicion that Lucy Owen from ITV Wales will be presenting London Tonight this evening.

And I was right. So that's at least 32 different presenters on the London service since 1 March.

How long till we reach 50?

I have not been as critical of the new-look London Tonight as some people here, but I do think tonight's lead story is beyond a joke:

Yes seven minutes of material, a live two-way with their Entz Correspondent... and all because Elton slagged off Madonna.

IS THERE NOTHING NEWSWORTHY HAPPENING IN THE CAPITAL?!

Switched on the ITVNC to see the London Tonight headlines in the recap, and the 2 headlines were, Elton John swears about Madonna and a dog is caught on camera letting himself out of Batersea Dogs Home.

I mean strewth, this is the nations capital we're talking about here.

This is an absolute and utter disgrace, something has to be done about this programme I don't watch it anymore but just reading about on here makes me so angry.



EXACTLY - THIS IS LONDON, an amazing capital city, full of lots of good things, places and people, bad things too - there MUST be something other than Elton John to lead on for the love of Asa there must be.

Can't we do something about this programme, surley we can!?

When I wandered past, okay, towards the end, I admit, they were doing some awful story about a mouse, or a rat, or some other objectionable rodent.

The Gherkin is the top story on the late bulletin - Elton is well down the running order.

Hang on a minute - Elton John is going down on a gherkin .
Now that is a story !

I wouldn't knock ITV News for running with the Elton story as their lead last night - so did one of the nationals this morning.

Well, the Daily Star, at least...
