Don't you mean Sasha Harriman as LT called her!

Sasha Herriman reporting for London Tonight this evening. I wonder if she'll be a regular member of the London team? They did say they were in the process of recruiting another reporter.

And her legs really are that long as well - it wasnt just the CSO!
I wonder if this is permanent, or if she's just doing a bit of extra work within ITN?

Now she's doing a report on bendy buses.
Edit - ooh - I recognise that bus stop in Gray's Inn Road. I often catch a bus at the stop just on the other side of the road.

Keir Simmonds' style is really grating on me now. He's clearly an eager young reporter wanting to make his mark, but this constant sensationalist angle he takes just looks naff.
Last week for example, he placed a bag under a chair at Paddington Station at the height of the terrorist hype. When questioning poor random passengers on why they had missed it, he then went and twisted their fairly reasonable justifications into how unaware and complacent they were - obviously he's been told to do this, but its just so tacky.

Yes they were cutting it a bit fine as the first report got mixed up with the wrong set of pictures at the start. Also, the Liz Speight report was far too long for a late bulletin and was probably meant for the 6.00 edition rather than the late one.

Was it me or did LT just get completely cut off. Martin Davis was doing the local weather and got cut off and went straight to the ITV News so there was no local weather end-cap or Joyce saying goodbye.

I caught Friday's 'London Tonight' within the News Channel version of the 1030.
It seemed a bit haphazard how they opted in & out, involving a break filler (I think!).
Would I be correct in thinking that they can't show the London weather sponsor on the NC, even it gets transmitted on the proper ITV1 London service, as presumbly does all the other weather sponsors in the other regions, which seems crazy, unless there is a reason for this.
Even if the SKY signal 'leaks out' onto Europe etc, that does not explain the 'pigs ear' on the NC.
