From the wide shot at the top of the programme, it's a very convincing virtual replica of the old set in studio 4.

The studio looks the same, but brighter, crisper and cleaner! The monitor at the opening shot looks virtual though..?

It looks like to your average viewer that they had the cleaners in. However the virtual plasma looks rubbish.

Flooring is similar to that of ITV News' virtual walkway where the oval desk was placed. In general alot crisper though.

ITV News reporters already appearing.

The entire set is virtual. It looks good but virtual sets annoy me when done in the way they have been. I hope this isn't the version of the set to be rolled out across the regions due to go HD.

Interestingly I put Granada Reports back on and they were using an ITV News correspondent in Wigan. Maybe reporter sharing isn't going to be isolated to London.

At least the London skyline finally looks as clear as the LNN era.

I'd imagine this is a temporary measure to some extent until December.

LT once again heavily reliant on guests to fill in the gaps left by the lack of reporters.
