Really? All I saw was a solid autocue reader doing the bare minimum. There was a painful interview with a young tennis player which had no flow and it also seemed LT were using the excuse with Kaplinsky's first bulletin to add more showbiz tripe while only mentioning the TfL fare rises in the headlines.

BBC London News and the friendly but formal Riz Lateef have nothing to worry about.

The travel bulletins on Daybreak are now finally in 16:9 after Trafficlink invested in HD ready kit.

Shame that the new service will only be seen for about 15 seconds each bulletin.

Plus the cameras are 4:3 and are being cropped up, then covered with tube information, not brilliant.

Incidentally the contract to provide travel during GMTV/Daybreak is from the LNN era.
