Call yourself TV Forumers? Not a *single* capture posted.

I'm disgusted.

Oh, it's okay for you shut up in your Scottish ivory tower <pouts and flounces off> Wink

Indeed it is. By the way, its pale yellow ochre with a glaze, not marble. I learned that trick in the theatre, love. Now where was I?

I remain disgusted at the lack of captures.

Alistair Stewart looked so uncomfortable on that sofa/bonquette thing, and what was that shot showing the backs of the cameramen all about?

They looked more like camera women to me!

OK, camera-operators then Rolling Eyes

It sounds good, I can't believe that BBC LDN changed to BBC LONDON.

How does the new LT compare to the old LT, as don't forget its more of a studio change, its a change from a small company to ITN.

Overall the programme seems to be finding it's feet - perhaps not totally sure whether to follow the old structure of crime, sport and showbiz, or whether to become a nightly magazine programme. But i suppose it's like all upheavals - things even themselves out.

TV Room now has a selection of images. Video footage in about fifteen minutes from now.

Well as posted above, tonight's show was much more of a features magazine than a news programme.

The story count was low, and a lot of the programme was based around an opinion poll commissioned for the relaunch on Londoners' perceptions of the capital.

Off the back of this they had a live interview with Ken Livingstone at City Hall, and a piece by Stephen Bayley on what's wrong with the city.

There were only a handful of packages by reporters - Keir Simmons did a report but I can't recall what it was about, Phil Bayles had a piece on some novel and movie about the Ark Royal, Damon Green on the tube strike and an interview with Ms Dynamite.

They are now taking viewers' emails via londontonight@itvlondon.com

Crying shame about Anna Maria
Anna Maria Ashe was London Tonight ! Yet again you can be old , wrinkley and grey as a bloke and carry on until you drop but if you are female and reach a 'certain' age its 'get dumped' time ...
I don't know how old Anna Maria is but she has been presenting London Tonight as long as I can remember ....
Why do tv execs always dump the older women?
Sad

It's called dumbing down. They want the young lasses, preferably blonde bimbos.
