No but it means he'll be working for ITN already and will be able to get involved with national news reporting and Tonight amongst other things. I actually do think he'll be able to handle the softer edge of London Tonight though.

You could listen to his 5 Live radio programme. Should give you a good idea.

He did a report for ITV Central this week, so I guess he'll be returning to Brum? Given his wife reports/represents on BBC EMT, I presume he's still based in the Midlands somewhere.

He's nice bloke off-camera BTW; I served him and his missus a couple of times, at the pub-restaurant I used to work at. [Picks up name off the floor]
