Is Salma leaving? And I don't know why Tamzin just doesn't return.

Tamzin should return, but I've got used to Lucy Cotter on the showbiz front. A shame LT doesn't cover sport properly, but that's ITV for you!

Has Katie officially left London Tonight? She hasn't been on for ages, has she?

No, but Martin Phillp implied that that was typical of ITV.

No, because of the ITV National News staff shortages Mary and Katie have been swapping shifts. This means that Katie may be presenting the Evening news so a female stand in will replace her on London Tonight. Or she could be presenting the Lunchtime News all week and presenting the Evening News on Friday. Katie presnted London Tonight I believe on the 12th January.

Yes, I think it's just because in addition to the Lunchtime News Katie is presenting the Evening News on a regular basis, such as tomorrow and on Friday, and though we haven't seen her on London Tonight since last Monday I don't think she has left the programme.

Though my interest in local news wanes when she isn't presenting it, ITN really should make better use of Katie by having her present their most prominent national bulletins.
