And already on the News UK pay role.

Not terribly funny though. But that's subjective, I suppose.

It seems to me that Murdoch's Talk Radio station is the closest we will get here in Britain to any style of Fox News Channel.

Going through their schedule, the endless right wing, conservative opinion hosts should enable the BBC bashers and haters to air their opinions now, as they constantly complain over alleged BBC bias.

Also, the never ending BBC bashing on Talk Radio is becoming pathetic. Every day there is something to moan about from them. Also, and it has been mentioned in the comments sections of their YouTube clips, their fans are starting to realise what they are doing with the endless "is the BBC biased" clips uploaded on a regular basis.

I read through some of the comments from their loyal supporters, and even they are starting to get bored of the never ending drivel about the BBC, especially from the hypocrite in chief Dan Wootton and the blubbery lipped obese Mike Graham, who constantly moan that the BBC should be defunded.

Mike Graham was the man who in January of this year said he could not see the BBC lasting to the end of the year, happily ignoring the fact the BBC charter agreement is in place until the end of 2027, a fact that is totally overlooked by the presenters and supporters alike.

All of this just points to the Rupert Murdoch Fox News profile in the states, and now we have our own Fox News Channel here, Talk Radio is it, pure and simple, with very few centre or left wing hosts on it.

Here is a prime example of their throwing red meat to their fans approach on Talk Radio with "Is It Time to Defund the BBC" clip, which their own supports replied yes, but why are you keep harping on about it?

Dan Wootton, at his smug, hypocritical best, had a Is BBC News biased? - I nearly spat out my coffee when I saw it. This, coming from an alleged "journalist" at The Sun newspaper (owned by Murdoch of course) and a man who has skewed articles about celebrities for years, has the balls to call the BBC News biased!!

I get what you mean, but being anti the BBC is an acceptable viewpoint to have. Plenty of left wing outlets too.

My political views are left of centre. But I will watch the new stations, partly out of curiosity and partly out of seeing how any bias will be dealt with.

It is fine to be critical of the BBC, but when it's constant and on a Murdoch radio outlet, it's pretty transparent and unsubtle. Listeners/viewers don't like having their intelligence insulted, even when they agree with the people doing the insulting.

No-one likes having their intelligence insulted and I'm sure if people were being insulted by the new stations they'd make their feeling clear by changing the channel.

I am pro-BBC but am against over 75's having to pay

It's acceptable. It's stupid but it's acceptable.

Not that that's the BBC's fault, they were put in that position by the government. Who did well to make it look like it was the BBC's fault.

This is nonsense that needs slapping down. A lot of over 75s are amongst the wealthiest in society and of course should be paying the licence fee in the same way that they shouldn't have bus passes or access to the winter fuel allowance...

A tactic we're seeing in other areas of public life now.

This is clear evidence though of how important it is to Murdoch to be at the centre of the narrative of British politics - he is willing to fund what will almost certainly be an unprofitable venture to do it, but now try and use his influence to do it in a way he wants to be able to rather than follow the rules that Sky News has for 30 years.

I'm surprised though there wasn't a clause, or a longer clause, within the Comcast agreement preventing the set up of a rival to Sky News by key personnel - though it does sound like if there was they are trying to get around that and be more about opinion than news. I suspect it won't end up in the news section of the EPG.

Well I disagree with what you say but I respect your view.
