BBC WM's Paul Franks was doing the sport, bearing in mind he's normally on air at the same time, but BBC WM have been doing the 20 20 cricket, which has been nicking the last hour of Franksy's show anyway.
I guess this was a one off, unless someone knows more(Hint Hint, a certain senior poster!)

It would be good if the site contained presenter profiles, and possibly behind the scenes of the studio, like the BBC web sites.

Llewella Bailey is back on Central News. Good to see her back, will she be presenting at 6.30?

WM took News 24 audio for the Olympic announcement, during the Doolan show.
(Anyone read Doolan's Evening Mail column today, refering to recent correspondence in said rag, both criticising & praising Goldie! He also refered to SIFs (Single Issue Fanatics), & letters sent to him in green ink !)
Chinnie's daughter Tara, who sings, & has recorded an forthcoming debut album, is appearing at the Glee Club in Brum tonight.
One of the songs shes wrote, is about her dad & his early struggle to find work. Chinnie's worked with a bookie at the night races, before hitting the 'big time' !

was richard whiteley's funeral the on wednesday, we got central south yesterday (all-be-it with an update from jo in bham), so i guess that expalins part of bob's absence.
