The NEW Central West and BBC Midlands thread

Well nobody new as such. They've just given extra slots to an existing presenter !

Listening to Les yesterday, it was mentioned that Herr Flick had been on Doolan's show, discussing the station, & someone had mentioned that they hated Les Ross & his 'donkey laugh'( What donkey laugh ?), so that was Les' 'material' for the morning !

(I texted in to ask why Herr Flick couldn't do one of these discussions on the weekend schedule occasionally, because I didn't hear it, because I was at work & I would've been interested to hear it !

Anyone know what was discussed ?)

yes it does seem bbc mids are in the habit of having summer and winter titles. i am missing the 2 old grannies with the cows though in their anoraks in the winter, and without anoraks in the summer.

spotted the new titles this morning on midlands breakfast, so i set the vid - so its a nice chance to see the variations of the titles they used today ... because as we know they have several versions of each bulletins titles.

i presume this bridge thing is in coventry? where-ever it is, its nice for bbc mids to keep updating the titles and including more sights from around the region. sticking this bridge thing in every set of titles will give it maximum impact. i wonder if this is bbc mids gearing up for the relaunch of CWR, by embracing all things coventry.
