So does that put them just ahead or just behind TV Forum and its childish stupid question threads then, Mr VAT Crime?

i don’t think they can beat the latest wave of planks we have hanging round here lately. i resent wasting energy, scrolling down the forum to see a "what are the differences between look north and calendar" thread.

perhaps you could start up the tvforum homework club nick. what with "tolerance" and "patience" being your middle names. just think of all those spelling mistakes you could point out Laughing

Hello there,
Is there any chance people could help me out here please ~ is it possible for members or guests to take Photos of ITV or BBC Regional Studios or offices for me please?

If you think you can help me out please PM me...

Thank you very much (in advance!)

Is there any chance of some of the Birmingham TV Buildings - Gas Street and the Mailbox please?

If yes, can you please PM me for further details..

Thank you for your time.

the view of gas st studios is now complimented by a "TO LET" sign - they're letting out the whole of the first floor and 70 car parking spaces. to think - central west and central east squeezed into 2/3 of central west's space Confused

who says telly is dumbing down - nick and suzzanne ended tonight’s mt eating fish and chips with their fingers and speaking with their mouths full - kay would never do that Laughing had to laugh at the way simon was shoved out into the newsroom to do his weather - i bet he’s partial to the odd chip or 3. joking aside, simon is one of the best parts of the programme at the moment, i demand he stays!

oh and i wonder how long it'll be before jonathon ray presents MT - so far hes only done the odd report for MT and politics show Confused i bet he'd be great on wm, get rid of the bloke with the scouse accent or adrian goldberg!

NOOOO!!

Don't get rid of Danny Kelly !!!!

He's funny, unlike Goldie !!

Managed to catch ex Beacon Wabc & Telford FM's Ian Perry on Shropshire Earlies Monday.

Not too bad, after roughly 7 years after I last heard him on air(Can't get Telford FM !), but the only gripe I've got is no texts or on air phone calls!

Still, the legendary Perry sarcasm is still there!

Mollie's still off her rocker though ! Rolling Eyes

tonight's MT was a rather serious affair compared to normal. lots of hard news - the parents fo the dead baby, severn trent job cuts, election preperations etc.i dont think there was any fluff at all. not that its a bad thing, just 'different'.

poor simon was in the walkway outside the bbc enterance in his mac. i think the wind must have got a bit much for him. hes been adding some random places on the map this week. tonight it was the turn of "Ruyton-XI-Towns" in shropshire.

wonder if bbc mids will promote the bbc west opt out in grandstand this week Confused

it was rather fab to see the grandstand trailer with a bbc one midlands box on. it was shown mid-morning. trailer looked like a london-made affair, unfortunately, altho the v/o does mention the name of the presenter, which means nothing to us here in the mids Smile

There was a mention of the rugby tonight. ('A special programme')

Anyone catch Goldie this morning?

I broke my boycott of texting, to comment on 'Would you vote for Kilroy?'

My anonymous response was 'No, because he's a slimy git !', & Goldie read it out on air !

Mind you, another texter said 'Kilroy needs to go through several promotions before he can become a slimy git !'

Going back to the other day & the chip shop item, what's the betting the Tesco Express next door was raided for Glade or Haze air freshner then ?

(Did Franksy interview them as well? I missed that day's show !)

I wonder how Katherine got on at the Mailbox. I'm sure she said she was going there at some point to meet Nick. Aren't you going to let us know Katherine?

Did anyone else catch the MT trailer with Nick Owen at just after 6 the other evening - I think it was on BBC2 (I thought I'd got the TV on 2 so I was surprised it was on there)?

Any way, Nick was doing his bit to camera, and they used the standard BBC1 trailer graphics which fills the screen with red first from the bottom then the top... Unfortunately it made Nick look ridiculous as it "closed in" on just his eyes. Then they boobed by going back to Nick who had a major scowl on his face!

Just shows how rubbish the graphics are really though.
