(There is also a CIN special on Friday between 7 & 10 on WM too! What's the betting it's Daz Hale in charge ! Remember when local radio used to devote the entire night to CIN Not any more !)
Actually old fella, I have some news for you... straight from the Horse's mouth again
Children In Need night on WM will be presented by Danny Kelly, not Daz Hale! 7-10 with 6-7 being the football phone in presented from the open space by Paul Franks in drag!
So there you go... my mate is also directly involved with the TV presentation on the night too... although, I'd best preserve his identitiy...
By the way, it's Shefali and Ashley Blake doing the TV presentation, and by all accounts BBC Birmingham are making a day of it - Nick Owen will be around at a certain point to sign copies of his book... not sure if any proceeds to CIN though...

As I said they normally drop a programme the same length as the first programme to get the region back onto the national schedule as soon as possible no point employing someone at the Mailbox to stay till 4am.

thats just lovely isn't it - bbc one mids have rejoined network at 1.35 for horizon - completely missing out see hear. i wouldn't have thought that would have gone down well with the deaf viewers

erm, i know, i have *shocking i know* seen opt outs before. i was merely expressing my reservations about the appropriateness of dropping a programme from the schedule that many deaf people record, which may be viewed by people who value it more than casual late night viewers of unsigned repeated top of the pops. i know full well how budgets work for opt outs
consider for one moment - i could even be more in touch than mr b's insider, who supposedly knows everything

Shame is that I liked the original Central logo - the rainbow (or as one person called it... a total eclipse of a mint imperial). Don't think Central Court is going to look the same without the Carlton logo and the cITV stuff throw around. Plus the whole newsroom in reception concept is just bizarre. Sorry... rant over.

Well I was only guessing! ( I wasn't expecting Jimmy Franks to pop up on a weekday!)
Where's Tom Manners at the moment? Is he busily supporting sister Sarah with 'Strictly Come Prancing', or is he doing other things/taking a break?
I've taped (hopefully) Mollie Green from this morning, so I'll look at that later!
Caught a bit of Franksy presenting his show tonight, & he was mentioning that he was being made up.
(This has got to beat him in his underpants at the Mill a few years back, after saying he would present the Brekky Show from PM's roof, if Man U did the treble, which they did!)
What about Goldie trying to beat his fear of heights, or Waddo shovelling s**t at the sewage works?
Doolan's kids tea party, Annie Othen in bed at Allders in Coventry!
The Toy appeal kicks off tomorrow at 1pm at Bescot Stadium with the lovely Cayte Walker in charge.
