Is there any reason why this thread is still sticky ? I'm not sure any other regional news programme has been given such privilege, could it be because we have a midlands biased moderator in our midst ?

I think the Midlands thread should once again be set free, no doubt it's popularity will allow it to soar back to the top.

Thanks mate, someone with sense. Exactly my point, a BBC Midlands BIASED MODERATOR. No other regional news programme would be treated like this, although no other programmes is like Midlands Today though is it? They're not as "Low" standards as that.

EDIT: tvmercia, may I adapt my sig to include your "Forum Watch" Tag?

lol yes. forum watch is the new group designed to make the forum a nicer place.

ladies, i have a dream, i dream of the day when nick harvey does not have to wade through topics because one mod hated generic threads. i dream of the day when we can count (get it?) on the forum clock to be accurate, and the day where james hatts doesnt have to step in where others cant be bothered to, to ensure everything is in its proper place.

Shouldnt it BBC Watch? Anyone who slays a bad word about the BBC gets banned? The threads gets closed, so why not go the full wack. And make the forum offically anti ITV.

Now now now! Kids...all clean fun here!

Let's behave now, else I will have James Hatts round your house in a flash to remind of the 10 forum commandments.

Who asked you to but in mate

Well you posted on a public forum, where people are allowed to express opinions. Didn’t realise you were having a private discussion in view of everyone.

and I have been here well longer than 10 minutes mate belive you me

Well you haven’t even been here a month, well at least under your current identity.

Errrm… yeah that’s why they were doing magic tricks in the studio and had a family on talking about their dog. That’s great news – front page stuff.

You come across to me as someone who is bothered by little things on internet forums, rather than the state of your social life – but then again, what else is there to do when you’re 13?! Oh, and please stop referring to everyone as “mate”. We aren’t your friends.

Now back on topic, has the high pitched headline effect thingy been ditched, or was it a mistake the other night?

Forum Watch is indeed a great cause, if we do not bring the forum back into shape soon we will have to bring about a system where all posts are vetted by James Hatts to make sure they are correct and in the right forum.

Self important newbie nobodies such as gmtvtoday do nothing to help this forum and sap the morale of Nick Harvey who, being god, does not deserve such treatment.

I think it has, because they used the old headline bed at lunchtime and at 6:30. It doesn't blend quite as well with the new titles as the first headline bed. They also seem to have gone back to using the old closing music at the end of the 6:30 programme. Hopefully, as BBC Birmingham seem to be in the mood for tweaking things, the next to be chnaged will be the astons, which get even more nasty by the day.
