Looks like it's going to be Pebble Mill CIN Spectacular sans Pebble Mill; hissy audio, washed out lighting and terrible camera work and slightly blurry OB footage.

All we need now is Pebble Mill instead of Aston Hall and some terrible graphic overlays!

Jo Malin is your host for tonight. (I wonder if Ashley Blake is watching this year, as he wasn't impressed last year, according to his book now out!)

Check out BBC WM Facebook for pics of what's been happening today, but briefly Upton & Hale, with a few guests, including Nick, covering the equivalent of 50 miles on an exercise bike, Mollie, covering Malin, was hosting a tea & cake party, plus the 'singing' security guards of BBC Brum, The Scouser live from a car wash in Boldmere, Sutton Coldfield & the piece de resistance, Bev Bevan's The Move performing live on Franksy's show live from outside the Mailbox.

Receiving ITV1 Central East on Sky

Hi .

Noticed during the last couple of days on Sky in '' SERVICES '' on '' OTHER CHANNELS '' that I have not been able to watch ITV1 Central East, The Screen says '' There is a tecnical fault with this channel Please try later '', Are any other Members experiencing this or is it just me ?

Maybe the frequencies for ITV1 Central East on Sky have changed ?

Can any members please Help with this where possible ?

Thank You !

Former Bbc Wm programme organiser back at Pebble Mill in the late 90s, Simon Lederman, back at Wm for one day only, covering Paul Franks.

Tomorrow, the Doolan Christmas show is recorded in Birmingham, for transmission Friday.

A nice touch from Midlands Today this evening doing full-alphabetical-order-of-everyone-who-has-worked-on-the-programme-this-year credits over some carol singing.

A few familiar names to those of us who've listened to BBC WM over the years on that list.

Jay Patel & Colin Roobottom spring to mind.

Talking of BBC WM, Daz Hale is supposed to be covering Phil Upton some days over Christmas & apparantly Mollie is covering Daz including reading the Breakfast Show Sport.

What does she know about sport?

Will have to 'IPlayer' for a laugh.

Shefali on a Saturday, doing the weather?

Presumbly, as it's Christmas Day this Sunday, there's no BBC English Regions TV unlike normal.

**Nostalgia Alert**

Bob Warman's looking through the Central News archives tonight at 6.30pm to commemorate 30 years of Central News. Presumably this is through the week as their actual birthday is on NYD.

Speaking of which, a few Central bulletins of yore amongst this lot, courtesy of former presenter. 25 years of Central right at the bottom...

In case anyone is wondering, the lovely Chris is now working for BBC Bristol/Points West

Saw Christopher on the NC the other week when there was an accident on the Gloucestershire bit of the M5.

Didn't seem the same without his bowl of fruit on the table!
