I'm surprised no one has mentioned Nick Owen breaking into the end of Pointless chatting to Midlands Today crew for the those of us in the West Midlands, from memory we had a few seconds of Nick then back to Pointless then a BBC 1 Midlands ident then start of the Midlands Today headline sequence.
We then had London headlines at the start of the Six.
I was watching this on Virgin Media, although assume it went out whichever platform people where watching on.
Loyd is known as the presenter of the Friday Late Show on WM.
I gather from an on air mention, Keith Middleton is doing tonight's show.
(I'm surprised there's no mention of Lloyd on WM's web page or the Facebook site. Would've thought they'd would've wanted to get the word out, especially as it's been mentioned on air?)
Edit : It's mentioned on the Keith Middleton 'personal' Facebook, but not on 'Keith's Corner' !
Edit on Monday - Found in Rugby over the weekend, according to the 'Express & Star' today, but no mention on air as far as I know!

For some reason my local Wetherspoons (Warrington, Cheshire) likes to show ITV1 Central with no sound and tonight was no exception when I visited there. But there was a nice feature at the end of Central Tonight earlier showing loads of clips from the ATV days, no idea why though.

There's a gym next to Charing Cross station in London which also shows Central Tonight! Clearly using a Sky box which hasn't got a card in as Central (West) is the default on 103 for those without a card.

The Carrott was presenting a report on Ed Doolan, as he prepared for semi retirement.
One thing I'd forgotten about was the time Ed persuaded a escaped prisoner to give himself up, which made the national news.
The guy wanted to go to the nearest police station rather than back to the jail, but Ed didn't know where the nearest police station was, so the guy said, 'I'll direct you!'
Looks like it's going to be Pebble Mill CIN Spectacular sans Pebble Mill; hissy audio, washed out lighting and terrible camera work and slightly blurry OB footage.
All we need now is Pebble Mill instead of Aston Hall and some terrible graphic overlays!
