Sameena AK and Bob Warman were heckled in Birmingham city centre, by some dissaffected youths towards the end of CN. "Can we have some quiet please guys", said Sameena-- understandably with more than a little hint of irritation in her voice
Any swearing? Granada in Liverpool had kids yelping "F the police" and the presenter just apologised a couple of times and didn't really acknowledge the little rats directly.
Mark Regan (WM's Sports Editor!) running 7 till 10, then Bishop Joe Aldred(Genelle's dad!) teaming up with Asha Riaz for a special edition of 'Chatback', running 10 till 1, then Jimmy Franks 1 till 5, then Daz Hale from 5 as usual.
Intriguing to notice that some of the programming isn't available on the IPlayer(mainly overnight & Daz Hale!)?

I don't think so-- the ones in Brum were just being noisy-- couldn't make out what the little cherubs were saying. I think Bob and Sameena coped very well under the circumstances.
Richard Wilford Evening Show running 7 till 10.35.
Then a simulcast of BBC One's Question Time(Are all BBC Local Radio taking it? Is it a individual managing editor decision?) running 1035 to 1135.
Then BBC WM Introducing between 1135 & 1am, followed by Jimmy Franks 1 till 5.
While we obviously welcome BBC WM (& other BBC stations in the same position!) doing this, surely in the long run we'll have budget reductions anyway(even if the main BBC cuts were not implemented!), as will BBC TV News.
(Bet it'll get mentioned on Snoddy / Feedback at some point?)
Is anyone taking over, or is it split between Shefali, Ben & the 'out of area' relief? (The EMT lot & Liz Austen, who ain't as cute as Laura Tobin, IMHO !)
Jackie Kabler joined in the studio by Tim Aviss(who I know from his work on WM!) discussing a Brum riots related story, with Kirsty Edwards(who?) 'down the line' from somewhere with the weather!
