I think most of us will find a certain umbrella in this video quite amusing: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K5SqPUvULR0&feature=related

Especially as it's now HTV land now, it's nice to see the people of Gloucester are still proud of their past!

Well if it's any help, the same anno is broadcast before the Granada news also - I presume that the traditional analogue overlaps still apply when receiving HD via digital terrestrial, so a notice goes out to viewers still pointed towards the northwest and the west midlands, as per historical value.

Can someone confirm whether the regional bits in 'The Politics Show' are supposed to be live or recorded thesedays?

I was under the impression they were recorded thesedays, as the Friday MT normally shows clips, but this week there was no 'preview' on MT, due to the royal wedding coverage & Susanna Mendonca (returning to 'local' work after recent attachment to the 'national' show!) was on an OB at the ICC.

Was today's 'live' show a one off?

EDIT ; Just realised it's Mollie's 36th birthday today too! I note she has been off for the past 2 Saturdays as well!

nice little video posted to the pebble mill site by tony waddo wadsworth. interesting that the am frequencies are on the wm branding, i guess they were only handed over to asian network a year or so previous to this video.

V Good, Mr TVM.

Spotted Mrs Waddo & Boyden in the clip, but were the 2 others in the 'back room' known to the listeners in anyway?

1'21" there's a door with a sign " Studio C" - I thought Studio C was never built, just a Gallery C? Was the area used for PM at 1 considered to be Studio C?

That is correct, Studio C was the name given to the old reception area as it was kitted out as a studio, but it was never an official studio.

It originally housed Pebble Mill at One, then Daytime UK/Daytime Live/Pebble Mill and Good Morning with Anne and Nick (along with the conservatory).

Towards the end it housed the Riverside Surgery, 'Central Midlands Police' and the Letherbar for Doctors.

Any idea who is the presenter at the large BBC Midlands local being refered to?

I reckon a 99% certainty who it is, but he had a weekday afternoon show, not a morning one!

(Obviously no names being mentioned!)
