Looks like MT are captioning 'Reporter Name' plus the 'midlandstoday@bbc.co.uk' email address on screen now.

Besides Colin Pemberton retiring, has Susanna Mendonca also left the Politics Show, as Ben Godfrey did the main OB, plus 3 female reporters from 3 of the local radio stations are also part of the team now?

The question is, are the astons animating? Or static still [so boring, I think the Mill was doing animation in 1983].

Still static.

Tut. I know it's hardly of detrimental importance but it'd just look better than slow fade with a big green line on the left hand edge that they use now.

Ben Rich in the newsroom at 1210pm today.

Has there been another leak in the main studio again?

Mary Rhodes doing the teatime bulletin apparantly.

No idea, but if it is leaking again, they should just move their studio elsewhere.

Sounds cheap.

Not cheap, but the fact if it is leaking now, it has leaked about 8 times (twice has caused weeks out of the studio) since moving in. They can, with relative ease, move the lot to the end of the newsroom/offices, as demonstrated when the studio has been rehashed.

Ah well, that's different - I thought this would be only the second time.

It leaks a fair bit, NetworkRail gents is just above MT's studio.

It was normal at teatime.

The newsroom plasmas are just another presentation area, Birmingham is lucky in having a choice of space, some regions are stuck in a broom cupboard still! Saves sorting out the studio for a 5 minute bulletin!

Anyone spot Malin & her mutt on 'Inside Out, doing a report about fat dogs? (No jokes about Jo please! Laughing )

You also had Shefali looking for the old King Kong statue that stood in Brum for a bit in the early 70's. (No me neither!)

Plus a report on the re-emergence of TB. (The disease, not the former prime minister!)

Next week, Flupton's on the Brum Outer Circle bus route!

Flupton.

He's just a fan boy isn't he?
