Doesn't she work at ITV Central? Or Does ITV have one of those doors whereby you enter at Gas Street and leave at Granada.

Bit like entering the Nottingham newsroom & walking through a door into the Birmingham control room!

Surprised they managed to get Peter Powell?

Nice touch after the end, by using the 90's travel & news (JAMMS?) jingles into the 1pm news, but how come it was the 'Radio WM' versions rather than the 'BBC WM' versions?

Does WM hold copies of all it's old jingles? They appear to.

IIRC they used to use a shot of the Nottingham Trent Bridge in Central East. ISTR them using voiceovers like "Live from Nottingham, this is Central Tonight" (to coincide with the "Live from Birmingham, this is Central Tonight" that the West were using) but they were in fact next door at Gas Street.

I believe she does do weather for just Granada on occasion, not enitrely sure whether she travels to Manc for that or not? She had worked on Coronation Streets behind the cameras, back in the day.

These days he's now at SKY apparantly.

Interesting trailer on BBC One just now, Nick Owen in the MTD studio (with decent lighting!). It was for the spending review. The endboard was "Spending Review:The Midlands Today Debate" without the region tag below the BBC One logo.
