Hello, I don't post much on here but I have read TV Forum for years and years. It does annoy me that anyone who so much as challenge's Westy's posts they get a childish, 'Well go and start your own thread in your own forum' response. I have to agree with some of the questions asked about why is there so much local radio discussion on a TV Forum? I for one agree that I don't want to hear about what Molly has said every day... Sorry!

And some people don't appreciate endless comments on Mollie.... this is a 'forum' so I am entitled to my opinion and for it not just to be classed as 'bickering' just because you don't agree with me!

Can people stop bickering about this. Some people on this forum appriciate his posts, whilst they're not always relevant to 'Television' , they still relevant to BBC Birmingham and the on goings of the regions output. If you don't like them, just scroll past them.

I wasn't aiming my comment at you in particular. I reiterate, if you don't like them, scroll past them. You don't have to read them.
Regarding set changes at MT, its about time its only had the odd lick of paint since 2004! Anyone know what's planned? I heard whispers of a new desk a few years ago, but this never materialised. Maybe it will this time around?

Would be nice for them to have a new set wouldn't it, it's about time... they used to change their sets in the 90's atleast every 5 years so it's due something completely new!
And while I see your point about scrolling past something that doesn't interest you, why should I, if I don't think it's relevant to what is being discussed in the thread? I am not picking a fight but it seems that some people can just post off topic whereas others can't question it (which essentially goes against the rules of a forum and subsequent threads).
My point has been made anyway.

Whispers of the new desk that never materialised ended up being adjustments to the desk they have had since 2003.
I think the desk is going, Definitely. I also have be alerted to a more formal style of presenting and there will be more white - Hopefully not too white. I will see what I can find out.

I'm not listening to her thesedays, because I want my kip, plus she couldn't answer a perfectly reasonable email 3 years ago about one of her former colleagues (If she doesn't know, at least say so & not ignore the f******* email !) or give me a flipping mention, even if I send a text when the show starts & when you moan to the management, asking if there's a problem , they fob you off! (If your name's 'Don from Edgbaston', you're in her inner circle!)
For personal reasons, I haven't listened to Daz Hale for a few weeks either & I was getting more sense out of him, than Mollie.
Now will you moaners 'get a life' & get out of mine!
(TVM - I know what you said to me previously by PM, but I'm getting ******* off with all this sniping by certain individuals who have a problem going past my posts. Everyone else whos in support, ta very much! )

Errm the fact that you post on a forum leaves you open to critique either in a positive or negative way. So no, I won't get a life, I have one and it's not spent sending endless emails to BBC WM, maybe
Mollie hasn't responded to you because you seem to have stalker like tendancies? Of course, this is *just* my opinion and need to get myself a life.

Can I point out that a moderator of this form said a few pages back that posts about regional radio in this kind of thread aren't considered a problem. Therefore if you wish to complain about such posts, Asa or the mods are the people to take it up with rather than making (ironically off-topic) posts about it.

I take it discussing radio in a TV forum is due to the thread being about broadcasting within the region?
If so (and because the BBC is covered) I'll happily post on one of the the commercial stations.
Listening to Heart FM this morning - they played a Wham song. Ed James is on holiday so Dave Clarke is covering and Matt Jarvis on afternoons. Steve Denyer back on drive. I called Steve today and said it was good to have him back following his hols - he didn't mention me.
Great joke from Toby Anstis this morning ......
What do you mean you don't give a damn?

Anyone have trouble receiving radio stations on the NOW Wolves Dab Multiplex today?
I couldn't get WM, Shropshire, Beacon or Gold at all, until around 5pm, when I left work.
Danny Kelly's bad enough without added FM hiss IMO.
Oh & Lester, comment noted, but you're well wide of the mark. If you've ever listened to a radio show(Mollie's as an example!), you will notice the same old names popping up as text mentions every day, not just me.
Don from Edgbaston, John from Redditch, Sean from Highgate, for example.
Are you going to call the likes of them 'stalkers' & that's without yours truly getting involved, bearing in mind I haven't had a text mention from Mollie for around 3 years now, so calling me a stalker is quite offensive IMHO.
(And the email in question is around 3 years old too!)
I'm sure other radio listeners could name a show, where the same people text in day after day!
