Very weak argument there. Again, since when did TV and Radio mean the same thing? Or is that too hard to understand?

May I ask where you think you are going with this? Are you consciously attempting to alienate everyone on this forum? I respect your right to hold a different opinion from my own but when you have to resort to petty insults to express it I would say that it is you sir who has the weak argument.

Would you like to look into who started the petty insults?

Gavin Scott anyone?

Would anyone care to check who took on board people's points and gave a coherent counter argument to them?

Oh, not you then.

As far as I can tell all of this started with your reply to this post.

Whilst our 'sister site' has Birdsong for dedicated to radio discussion I do not see any harm in an occasional post by someone about regional radio in a related regional new thread, even if it is slightly off-topic. In any case it doesn't warrant the subsequent posts making a big issue of it and derailing the topic.

Now please get back on topic.

Anyone ever used this 'Random Topic' thing under the Facilities heading?

I idly pressed it a few times, until this topic popped up.

Interesting to note what we were all talking about roughly 6 years ago!

New Inside Out WM presenter announced.

It's former network sports reporter Mary Rhodes, who comes from Herefordshire, so at least we still have a presenter with connections with the area.

I've now opened a 'Inside Out' thread, to discuss all regions, to save clogging up the regional threads.

(Surprised no one's thought of it before?)

Listening to Franksy on WM earlier & one of his guests was Tony 'Adam Chance from Crossroads' Adams, who along with Ruth 'Gladys from Hi De Hi' Madoc, is appearing in one of the Brum city theatres in a production of 'Last Of The Summer Wine'

I believe the only member of the original Summer Wine TV cast appearing is Kathy Staff(Nora Batty), of course better known to Crossroads fans as Doris Luke.

Of course yours truly got a mention when I texted Franksy to inform him that Adams had appeared in Dr Who in 1973, which prompted a brief reminice from Tony of Jon Pertwee, which led into comments about Noele Gordon, comparing their 'leadership' of their respective shows, the 'family' atmosphere etc.

Should be on the Iplayer by now, with Tony Adams appearing in the last quarter of the first hour.

Talking of Jon Pertwee, on the recent occasion that Mollie covered Danny, she told a story of coming into work recently & finding a bloke who looked familiar. She thought it was Pertwee(Whether she remembered Pertwee was already dead, I can't remember?), but guess who it turned out to be ?

None other than ...... Bev Bevan Laughing (I know!)

They'll have a job. She died last December.

Oops I must have misheard, plus forgot Kathy had passed on! Embarassed

Am I the only one who thought, when they mentioned there was a wallaby loose in Redditch, 'Good lord, Mollie hasn't got herself a wallaby now, has she?' Confused
