Anyone noticed WM's dropped the references to Flupton at the top of the hour in the news jingle?

Ashley Blake is the centre of attention in tonight's Birmingham Mail:

Lighting fixes I think.
They had most of one of the studios out front at Gas Street the other week.
Nice to see the West studio in use again... although the projector needs to be focused a bit! More Nightwatch being filmed perhaps?

Good link. Not sure much more can be said about Ashley (or the dreadful Maureen Messent).
I was more appalled by the utterly atrocious production values on this Mail video. It shows what horrors can result when local newspapers try and "do" TV. (A lesson for OFCOM when it hands out contracts for ITV regional news)

Yep, wouldn't surprise me... it has been poor lately with the mismatch of aqua and the hideous teal.

The rear projection is also different.
I remember when it was totally blue. And I mean Blue, dark and light.

How on earth do you tell the difference between sets? Is there an extra scuff on the floor?

It wasn't an event.
There was 2 of the bench sofas and 2 rounded grey plastic things. like frosted glass with clear lines around the middle going horizontal.
EDIT: Forgot to say, they were piled up the sofas, like the were out of the way for a bit.

Wonder why they have gone back into the West Studio though? Backdrop looks a bit yellow in comparison to the studio. Looks a bit green screen.
