When there used to be a regional trail just before 1900 the whole of Yorkshire often got a trail for Radio Leeds's Breakfast Show, recorded in one of the radio studios, specifically about what was coming up the next morning. Which much have pleased Radio York and Radio Sheffield.
In Look North Y&L land - they often cut to web cam of Radio Humbs or Lincs when a story is being covered in the relevant breakfast programme. Used to always be only Humbs but good to see that also Lincs these days
Maybe everyone avoided the show - I was expecting non stop chat from Nick about the cricket and the midlands players involvement so watched another programme.
Another off MT appearance by Nick today, this time on BBC WM, during the afternoon show, as someone's done a website flogging newsreader's clothes!(Only in America, plus Mollie's covering the show for the next few weeks while Danny Kelly's in Cuba, so that plus a discussion about the Loch Ness Monster & comment about the Uri Geller interview done yesterday was discussed. Is it me or does the editorial team leave all the 'dodgy' stuff to when Mollie presents a show? She's got a degree, she has said in the past. (In what, is a mystery?))
I was thinking that, when I read NOTW today-- I'm sure Dominic Heale will be pleased to hear that! Mind you a lot of London media types think all Midlanders are really Brummies
