I see Steve Clamp is back on Central Tonight albeit as Central Sports presenter!
I'm surprised Bob Warman is still going after all his West chums were replaced with East!
I'm surprised too, I thought the extra shifts may have clashed with his business interests. Still a few West folk left, Keith Wilkinson and Mark Gough for instance. Otherwise most of the CNW old guard have moved on, as you say.
Can we have the topic name changed to 'The Central West and BBC Midlands thread'?
It's just the NEW is redundant considering the old thread closed in 2004.

It's still the new one though. Keep it I say.. It's been like that for 5 years and I gather that's its name now, no-ones complained before so I think it can stay. No-ones going to die if it stays like that. It's up to tvmercia at the end of the day.
When Doctors used to use the endless corridors of Pebble Mill as a set you would see signs for "Theatre 2" and "X Ray Suite" alongside directions to the BBC's genuine Occupational Health room. Visitors who came in the back way were often very impressed by the fascilities the BBC seemed to offer staff.
I've had 3 days off lately(2 unscheduled, due to doing my metarsal in, in Brum on Friday daytime, so I spent Friday early evening at Walsall A & E & hopefully returning to work on Wednesday in plaster. See the thread I've created on 'The Stirrer' forum for further info!).
I've noticed Jo Malin trailling her show on WM, during the 825 on Breakfast.
How long has that been going on then, plus which studio is she doing that from? The CSO bit in the main TV studio?
(I bet that's ****ing off the other local stations, if she's allowed to do that?)

BBC Scotland use the same slot to trail their phone in show on Radio Scotland.
Yes, but I think the point Westy2 is trying to make there is also BBC Hereford and Worcester, BBC Stoke, BBC Shropshire, BBC Coventry and Warwickshire that also cover parts of the BBC West Midlands TV region.
