Westy, you might be interested to know that BBC Radio 7 is giving a network airing to some Doolan's "Other side" interviews with comedians, and actually introduces it as having been first broadcast on Radio WM.

Very sad news about Ashley - always found him a good presenter. Waves!

ST, that makes you sound like you're going to be in the cell across from him . Confused

I feel sorry for the bloke, I wasn't much a fan of his work but it's sad to see someone who's worked their way up in business and the media to fall the way he's done, admittedly through his own actions. Once he gets through this I hope there's a helping hand out there somewhere to give him a chance to rebuild his life.

One for Westy. And rumour has it (well someone from Digital Spy) that Tony Butler is joining Tom Ross on and BRMB (and presumably Beacon and Mercia) this season.

Blimey ain't the old git gonna retire or what?

I notice Mark Regan is looking after the WM footy phone in Monday to Thursdays, while Franksy continues with Fridays.

Flupton's back & have you noticed(unless it was only dropped while he was on hols) that there's no more 'Phil & Jo' at 930am, it's Jo Malin all the way from 930 to 12.

I was aware of the BBC 7 Doolan repeats as they've done that before, by the way.

The 'infamous' Don from Edgbaston is getting around a bit as I heard him get a mention on the BBC Late Show that goes out on Stoke, Shropshire & H & W. (Obviously the 'black' programming on WM not to his taste!)

All over then!

Any bets on who will be the new 'Inside Out' presenter then?

My money's on Giles Latcham, as he did cover last time, along with Suzanne.

That bird who reads the Central News during GMTV.

Was there something with her eye this morning?

I saw the 635 this morning & something looked a bit off.

(I'm a bloke & no expert mind!)
