Virgin will have been BBC Two England (and contained BBC London News) on their digital platforms. There is no other version of BBC Two generated for digital platforms - there are no digital opt chains in any English regions (not for DTT, not for DSat - and thus nothing for Virgin to get hold of)
If Virgin still have any analogue cable operations - then may have carried BBC Two regional analogue feeds.

Rare bit of split programming between DAB/online & FM tonight on BBC WM.
While programmes continued as normal on FM, DAB/Online transmitted Athletics from Alexander Stadium(presumbly?) in Brum, between 5pm & 1030pm, crashing back into what would've normally been Network Gold, but as Plattie normally takes the Wimbledon period off, Tony Gilham with 'Gilham Gold' was transmitted instead. (Normally his show goes out down South or online!)
This week saw WM's 'From Flab To Fab' campaign, based on the revalation that the West Midlands are a bunch of fatties or summat. (You would've noticed Jo Malin disguised in a fat suit walking round the Mailbox as part of Midlands Today coverage. If they waited a couple of weeks for Mollie Green to return, they wouldn't have needed the fat suit, as she's a big girl! (Well last time I saw her on the box!))
Talking of Miss Green, she is now a Mrs, as she got married last Saturday(Charlie Jordan covered last Saturday's brekky, I noticed). (Personally I think us listeners got the better deal with 3 hours a week of her, rather than 24 7
).
Anyone notice the Wikipedia story about Adrian Goldberg in the Evening Mail tonight in the Hancock column, as originally mentioned in the forums section of The Stirrer web site(my other 'home'!)
Fancy saying he's a Man United supporter!

Westy- not very gentlemanly comments about Mollie there. What has she done to upset you (apart from ignoring all your daily texts?)
WE
Well I'm not the only one who can take the piss out of her! I caught most of the 8 to 9 slot on Saturday & some bloke called Dave the animal hater texted in to ask whether she'd got married because she was 'up the stick'
(She isn't by the way. Poor kid, if she was, having her as it's mum. I still remember a few recent Early Shows where she had some new born chicks at home & one of them had a dodgy leg, so she had to build some sort of splint for it!
)
Apparantly Danny Kelly(who was covering Janice Long, as she was doing something for R2) is getting married next year!
Flupton off again! Daz Hale covering for him, with Terry Goodwin covering for Daz.(It appears Jo Malin might be doing the 930 half hour bit solo, rather than doing it with Daz!)
What a shame Les Ross is no longer on air, as I'm pretty sure we would've all loved to hear his comments about Hardeep Singh Kolhi being suspended from 'The One Show'.
(Isn't HSK supposed to be some sort of 'comedian', as I've never found him funny)
What's this about Liz Kershaw getting the boot from CWR then?

Phil Gayle (ex Big Breakfast & several radio stations apparantly) is covering Flupton on WM next week.(Looks like Daz is off too as I heard Terry Goodwin say he was in for Daz as well on Earlies)
Anyone see the 'Hancock' column in the Birmingham Mail on Friday, with references to Anita Bhalla(ex Asian Network & MT's Social Affairs Correspondent & now something to do with the Mailbox Public Space) having a bit of bra trouble & Suzanne Virdee being fed up with the queue for the ladies & using the gents instead?(Or did I imagine it?)

Adrian Goldberg returned to BBC WM this weekend, but only covering for Chinnie both this week & next week.
For what I heard, not too bad, except for a bit of finger trouble with the jingles, introducing 'Leann Rimes' as the travel reporter, & proclaiming he was back 10pm next week rather than 10am.
(There is a thread on The Stirrer forum(When I last looked!) for further discussion)
