I'm pretty certain East and West split on the News at 10's regional part.
Will post back later to see whether this happens. I do know the weather maps are different.

She's been busy working for Channel 4 racing recently, as their weather forecaster (Cheltenham was it?), hence her absence from Central of late.
She's still working freelance for Central, but she often covers in other regions too (Granada for instance).

She did appear to be better presenting within the constraints of the shorter ITV weekend bulletin. Tbh I think on what remains of the local ITV shows she's amongst the worst of the anchors now. SAK lacks any personality and demonstrates little humour or any other emotion during the shows. 
Looking back I see how hard Steve Clamp had to work to carry her on the CNE bulletins and make them ok to watch. Now she's working with Bob and it's like watching two very wooden actors with a poor script, it's hard work

How come on the BBC Midlands Breakfast bulletins, the style / layout of the graphics is not the same as the later 130/630 shows?
I've seen the odd bulletin this week & I've noticed the little red bit at the top of the caption being a name of a person, eg Joe Bloggs & the big white bit underneath being used for a job title, eg HEADMASTER, where on the other shows, it's normally all on the white bit, with the red bit just saying BBC MIDLANDS TODAY.
Also why on the brekky bulletins,does it only say MIDLANDS TODAY, when it should read BBC MIDLANDS TODAY?
The clock covers where the BBC should be!
Also BBC Hereford & Worcester is on 94.7 not 97.4 !
I know it's only a one/two person operation that time of the morning but surely they could get it right!
Is it right Bernadette Kearney's now left the Beeb to become a teacher?
Suzanne refered to her as a 'former colleague' the other night.

I just had a look at Central Court on Google Street View and the gates were all open and there is an "Offices To Let" sign up on the gate!

I suspect operator error with the red topped strap, there are a variety of templates that can be used for all of the different types of caption the bbc uses. Use the wrong template and a computer being a computer does not know enough to tell you a mistake has been made.
As for the clock position I noticed that too, but when I was in Manchester the other day I saw their output and they have done the same thing. Perhaps it was easier to modify their existing straps to incorporate a clock than to completely redesign them?
