also I remember seeing a clip ages ago when llewella was saying she wont be on weekends and shell see everyone during the week?!?

also- was the last weekend buletin regional or pan regional? as they had the birmingham background

i think that was around October when Llewella said that, prob running until she left.

and weekends have been pan regional for ages. they probably used bham background to get East viewers to seeing it.

they desperately need to renew their background or get a live one, as its either dark weeks after it is or too light weeks after it is.

I do hope so... fingers crossed!

Did Steve clamp slip up there or do we think that Bob really IS going soon? I must say that if he is going, it doesn't surprise me as Wesley Smith (ex Thames Valley and long time Central veteran who has always expressed a wish to step into Bob's shoes) was seen at the Gas Street complex last week despite leaving itv when Thames Valley ended a few weeks ago. Watch out for that I'd say!

Also, do we know what programmes Steve Clamp is to present on the national news? I assume he'll be doing weekends like Lucy Meacock from Granada?

I seriously dont' think Bob is going anywhere. Its like Fred down on Meridian, but Bob is even more of a legend.

Hard to make out I know, but does anyone have any idea where the new 'Goals Central' segment is coming from? Doesn't look as though it's from the West studio (judging by the flooring and camera angles), so I presume it's being done from the boardroom/meetings room area?

New pan-regional show was okay I suppose; although the lack of 'banter' between Sameena and Bob made tonight's bulletin in particular quite dull, compared to previous weeks. Judging by the short gaps after the titles and reports, I take it the West edition is being played out as normal whereas East is opting out to show the pre-recorded segments? No other notable changes, except for a transition when the 'Central Tonight' DOG appears and a sting using the same effects - as used on the plasmas.
