Beg to differ about Arti who was a plank, but I won't say much in risk of the PC brigade kicking off again.

It looks like Bob and Sam get on well. She was very good, don't know what people's problem is with her. Same with Arti Halai, must be their background that is people's problem.

Anyone see MT's snow coverage tonight?
Among the clips you would've seen one Alan Nicklin of Traffic Radio.
Is this the same Alan Nicklin who has worked for Beacon Wabc, The Wolf & Telford FM?
Happy memories of the Beacon Wabc Midnight Line circa 1995/1996, where Al was Ian Perry(He of Radio Shropshire Early Show fame)'s phone answerer, amongst other things!
I assume those screens at the Highways Agency are the same ones Cayte Walker looks at on Mondays & Thursdays on Flupton at Breakfast?

I can't say I'm bouncing with joy at the return and soon to be almost constant presence of SAK to the screens.
It's nothing to do with her background, religion, ethnicity etc. Sorry to disappoint on that. I find her voice annoying to listen to , she's very nasal in intonation. Also she was at times a bit tense and too fixed on the camera as previously mentioned .
Although she's been warm, friendly and with a sense of fun which she's shown in the past on CNE I don't think she has the qualities that I've seen in other recent presenters on CNW.

what like Jo Malin, which Bob cringed at every other word she said? Lucy Kite was good though. Anette Finch is the best though!

I have to agree with you as these were the people I was thinking of as well as Llewella Bailey who has given so much to CNW /E . Each of them possess good basic presenting skills but all are quite individual . Disagree about Jo though, her stage background might not have been acceptable to all but I found her genuine in her earthy Black Country way.
I'm looking forward to her work on BBC.

I missed the SAK and Bob show earlier so saw it on ITV local. The family of Burton Albion supporters' story was on CNE last week.
By the way was Central News pan-regional tonight or did the East get its own bulletin? ITV local came up with the West's show, then came up with nothing afterwards for the East Midlands.
Bye for now

CNE had its own separate programme. I switched over to check when I noticed Sameena on CNW. New programme is from 16th AIUI from this forum?!

According to Emma Jesson, Luck Kite is to be become a new weather presenter on Central, she confirmed it today.
It would appear that Linda O'Brien and Bob Hall are leaving/have left too?

Why are a lot of the regions opting for former reporters to now present the weather?!
