Yep - that's my understanding. That way it appears to be seamless in both regions - with no "different presenter" for just a few minutes, particularly in new regions with only two patches.
It could be trickier in regions with three or more sub-regions to cater for - but then if they have more than one studio for pre-records, they might be able to split a double-headed team and record two at the same time with just one presenter for each pre-rec?

I caN'T BELIEVE she's leaving CENTRAL but i don't blame her she's an excellent presenter and reporter and i remembe her weh i moved to central area FEW years ago. She will be missed but sh'es making a good decision. I'm sure she will be well employed in the future

I am really not suprised by this. I mean this Michael Grade is one big demolition ball (Along with David Cameron and Charles Allen).

It is the most depressing time to watch itv local news, I feel sorry for those leaving.
I wonder if any of the well known faces across the regions going be staying or are we just going to be left with unknown 'wooden tops'?!
