Very exciting. First opt is 20 mins away. They've re jigged the titles and seem to be using the London news music instead of the old one. Nick will have the newsroom behind him but the studio is 360 degrees. There will be a bit done in the actual newsroom too.
Well the first glimpses have been revealed to the public, the regional ident is much improved, now all we need is the 2 1/2 mins of blackout before the breakdown and wella Welcome to the Mailbox.
No seriousl (god i hat that word) so, um right, um LISTEN! (mild improvement?) It's shaping up to be very good, Enjoy!

Nice new look, not sure about the jingle for ther headlines though sounds a bit of ff and disturbing from the normal bum bum bum they used to use.
I do like the fact that Nick Owen gets to do the first news from the Mailbox. Nick's great, he's very professional but is not miserable like GORDON OR DOMINIC.
I NEVER WATCH EMT it's gome downhill really badly IMO, even Anne davies isn't as good as she used to be. i'm going home to the North west today so i;m going to have t put up with GB tonight booooo, depress us all.
WOW This is excellent, it looks like its coming from TV Centre - it looks better that not only BBC LDN (You'd think London would look the best region being the capital city) but 10 times better than the BBC National News, BBC News 24 and World studios...
