Was that an error at the end of MT just then, using sting music from the current BBC London package to close the show over their usual endboard?

It is indeed. It makes you wonder whether they haven't got a copy of the London music/vamps/stings and played the wrong one out.
I quite like it, maybe they should nick it
Like they did with the national music , which was a rubish MT Bodge!

Trust me as a BBC London viewer - it gets very boring quickly, not a patch on the previous theme music

Nice new Midlands Today (NEWS 24 STYLE) Promo to , complete with burnt on logo!
If you mean the new 'on demand' trail, I think you'll find most (all?) regions have a version and are now running it...

Sarah and Giles are fantastic together on todays 1830. Michael Collie and Sarah together dont quite work. So I'm glad theyr experimenting with their presenters.

I completely agree. A fantastic effort by Giles.
He seemed quite relaxed and could easily front midlands today on a regular basis.
giles used to present a fair bit back in the original corporate era, with the likes of cath mackie, did he not?
talking of the old days - what ever happened to mike kilbane!!
