The timing makes it not obvious though to a casual viewer.

The standard 2004 closing music never played though.Perfect timing though yeah.

It is indeed. It makes you wonder whether they haven't got a copy of the London music/vamps/stings and played the wrong one out.

Trust me as a BBC London viewer - it gets very boring quickly, not a patch on the previous theme music Wink

Sarah and Giles are fantastic together on todays 1830. Michael Collie and Sarah together dont quite work. So I'm glad theyr experimenting with their presenters.

I completely agree. A fantastic effort by Giles.

He seemed quite relaxed and could easily front midlands today on a regular basis.

If you mean the new 'on demand' trail, I think you'll find most (all?) regions have a version and are now running it...

giles used to present a fair bit back in the original corporate era, with the likes of cath mackie, did he not?
