caught the end of central yesterday, and who-ever the woman was said "join us tomorrow with our new sports presenter ... bob hall" or words to that effect. which sounds permanent (well as permanent as anything can be at central!!) to me

I wonder why they're calling him new? I mean he may not have been presenting the sport for a few years but could have introduced him a bit differently!

he wont be that familiar to viewers in the east - except for his appearances on central goals extra, central match and central sports special, compared with viewers in the west who saw him pretty much every day on central news since 1982

*Ahem* And of course us poor neglected Herefordshire viewers from the South. Though we would remember him from Central News Pre-South.

He'll be on every Sunday with the footy round-up, so they said anyway Wink Bob Hall appeared sporadically on CNE, usually to stand in for Dennis Coath if one his minions wasn't available

***A**e alert***

Gaunt's in Waterstone's Wolverhampton on November 8 between 230pm & 330pm, according to the Express & Star tonite, to promote his book.

So there's a place to avoid, or go & heckle, depending on your viewpoint! Laughing

(Interesting to note elsewhere, that George Galloway is having a meeting of his 'fan club' in Blackpool in the next couple of weeks. I went to Blackpool recently & I don't remember seeing any phone boxes big enough!)

Tom Manners is in for Mollie Green for the next couple of weeks, & he mentioned that the Manners & the Greens had known each other for about 20 odd years.(ISTR Mollie saying she & Sarah Manners were at the same school!)

He also mentioned putting up his Xmas decs soon & mentioning an angel on top of the tree that looked like Mollie! ( I did consider briefly why he had an angel that was fat & had big knockers(so she said), but he did mention it was 20 years old, when she was 12!) Laughing

Bit shocking wasn't it! Surprised
Did anyone else notice a little problem with the live feed with Patrick Burns at the beginning showing someone's feet for about 10 seconds? Very perculiar! Confused

In case you hadn't heard Doolan's back on air from his latest hospital stay & rest.

I was off Friday & caught some of Trish AdontDont, & Ed popped in for the last few mins before recording 'The Other Side Of Someone I've Actually Heard Of For A Change!' with Liza Goddard, who was appearing in Brum with ex hubby Colin 'Dr Who' Baker in a play at the time, which was transmitted on Sunday.

Colin appeared as Les Ross' 3pm guest one day last week too!

Mollie returns next Monday at 5am!

Onto TV now & it was Mr Owen's 60th, so he had last Thursday & Friday off to celabrate, according to the Birmingham Mail!
