The Birmingham Post reported that "Doctors" was moving from Birmingham but "gaining" Casualty. Where's Doctors going, and where will Casulaty be housed? Anyone know?

Stuart Ellis is sitting in for Franksy today & tomorrow & next week(I think?), with Butler doing the Friday footy phone in.
Dave Holdsworth, Head of Regional Progs, came in to talk about the BBC cuts & how much it'll affect things locally. 'Not much!'

I was wondering where Pebble Mill in the 90's came from, was it actually from Pebble Mill (I only remember bits, and I think, and stress on the word think that some of the presenters were Alan Titchmarsh, Judi
Spicer
, Ross King and Sarah Green)?

Great video, and well done for five star for dancing and miming very well, in so many locations, must have been one hell of a shoot.
As for Pebble Mill, I was wondering where Pebble Mill in the 90's came from, was it actually from Pebble Mill (I only remember bits, and I think, and stress on the word think that some of the presenters were Alan Titchmarsh, Judi Spicer, Ross King and Sarah Green) as I only remember from the Midlands Today report before tearing it down that there was only their studio, the one that they used for midlands today, was the only television studio. Was this wrong? Am I wrong?
Also where did the old regional children in need opt outs come from?
Pebble Mill had at least two studios and three galleries.
Studio A was a general production studio - and had just been re-equipped for digital widescreen production when it was closed down, and the kit moved to other areas of the BBC. (Eventually I believe Doctors were allowed to move in and use it as a 4 wall space - shooting on their normal camcorder arrangement)
The Foyer areas at Pebble Mill could work into their own, separate gallery, I believe - though weren't technically a "studio". These facilities, too were technically closed when the BBC shut down network studio production in Birmingham. However I believe some kit was retained, as these areas may have been used as regional hub locations for things like the Election?
Midlands Today had a separate small news studio and gallery (and may also have had a pres studio and pres gallery at one point)

Amazing scenes! Five Star sing their latest hit on the last ever Pebble Mill At One, in such extravagant locations as the canteen and switchboard.

Plus the conservatory, but that probably comes into the foyer arrangement you mentioned.

Interesting shot of the newsroom today, why can't they use the three screens? They haven't been used for ages!

Could it be because the old logo's burnt onto them now, so it would show up pretty badly if they used them up close?

Forgot about that!
Why can't they just replace them with new ones anyway? I see that the one on the wall still hasn't been changed even though it hasn't been working for a couple of months now!!

Do they know all they need to do is put a blue screen on them overnight clears burnt images right out.
