They changed it after a couple of days and it didn't look right at all! too bright:

In 97 he moved to Heart and he also did Galaxy too, then he went back to BRMB in 2003 and in late 2006 he headed to WM.

Going back to Plattie & 'Network Gold', it looks like some weeks he won't be doing a show at all, or at worst broadcasting to CWR only, now he's been dropped from the other 3 stations, due to fairly regular footy coverage.

Isn't it about time another slot was found for it, that doesn't get mucked about by footy?

Has any of the H & W / Shropshire / Stoke listenership moaned about the loss of the programme?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this the last show that originates from WM that gets simulcast on other stations, apart from the evening & weekend news bulletins?
(Obviously I'm not counting the likes of the Danny Kelly Late Show, which was designed to be on both WM & CWR!)

I miss the days of the late show with tony and juile, they did a damn good job of it bringing people together from round the midlands and covering multi regional issues

yes it is a local station, but gets a bit boring when u listen to the same station all day with the same news and issues from just one place. tony and julie had a balance of everying

Well the show totally changed style and content IIRC, I was an avid listener to both and didn't really mind the change.

After the great series this week with Keith & Jennifer they brought the canoe in to the studio!
I was surprised at how quickly they swapped it for the chair tonight during the weather!:
