Sorry, that took two weeks to achieve? All they've done is changed a couple of pieces of plastic on the walls and added a tiny bit to the bottom of the desk. That could have taken half an hour over the weekend to do really. Typical Midlands Today going over the top on a 'relaunch' which really wasn't worth the bother.

Wow! The new sting is great! Not too keen on the music though but I think it's better than the last one.

Copying South East Today and using the dreadful music Look Leeds used for their lunchtime news while at Woodhouse Lane - great.

They could have atleast changed the sofa, every other region has changed their seating two or three times since that sofa was introduced. How many years has it been now?
How long can we expect these graphics to be in place, we already know that a Virtz system is being rolled out across the country in the next few months, i give it 9 months at the most.

The sofa got a mention , it's more padded and so is the sports blokes chair. Nick's sensitive rear will appreciate the softer feel on his return.

Overall I think it's rubbish tbh and not much has changed apart from I can see more of the newsroom now. That sting is louder and more irritating.

Re Suzanne , I appreciate her efforts with the shorter skirts. At least one of the WM girls is making an effort in that area.

They all seemed happier with it and that's the important thing. I expect more cosier news from WM from now on.

I think it was more of a good clean out, refresh of the studio. It got awfuly tatty. Shame the animation idea wasnt brought in. Maybe it will be when VizRT is installed.

Maybe the sofa had to be sent off to some furniture experts to be "padded out more", and that's what really took two weeks? Even though the other changes to the set are negligable and therefore probably took a lot less than two weeks, maybe a lack of temporary replacement seating whilst the sofa was away forced them to decamp for a fortnight?
