This Doolan Solihull thing, can anyone confirm the line up, as the 'original' version of the promo featuring Ashley & Pat Burns was played out during Danny Scouser's show this morning, despite yours truly hearing a different version during Mollie's show the other day!

Talking of Danny Scouser, he was an hour late for his 9am start this morning, with Mike 'The God Slot' Rimmer hanging on an extra hour until he came.

I can understand the early / first presenter of the day being late for some reason, but the second presenter being late?

No Doolan this week, with Trish AdontDont sitting in instead.

Mollie had the metal detecting bloke in today, but before that, someone mentioned metal detecting underwater, which caused a few rude texts "which we'll just brush over", including one of mine!, plus there was another mention of the infamous UFO over the M6/M54 junction! (Obviously a new listener, I texted in, gluttons for punishment!)

Onto MT, they seem to have had trouble with shadows tonight. Suzanne over Nick, for instance!

Things aren't going well this lunchtime on Midlands Today! Sound problems at the beginning of a report & the OB going down just leaving Suzanne asking a frozen picture of a table about chocolate! Laughing They just managed to link back up though!
Also is it just me or is the sound really poor? It seemed muffled and quite loud and when Shefali did the weather the lighting was really poor and dark!

over the last week or so i have become intrigued by aston fm. i have yet to hear any presenter or advertisements - so i presumed they were testing... only to hear live commentary of the villa game on saturday! the music choice is actually quite good - reminds me very much of radio jackie in london, the only jinge (well a voice over) says "this is aston fm, your station for spaghetti junction".

signal strength seems good. i can receive it in the royal town, with the best reception being on the aston distress way with acceptable reception in the city centre.

i believe its all something to do with muff murfin of buzz fm fame (which became choice, then galaxy). would seem that this station is part of his worcestershire based media empire?

I noticed this lunchtime that the projection screen now has silver round the edge!
