If everyone thought Pebble Mill was fab, then everyone would watch their programmes, and they wouldnt be moving. It may have been good, but its a rotting old building now. Hurry up Mailbox!

there never was an issue with the quality of the output. it was more to do with the bbc wanting to reduce the amount of studio space they had, and not wanting to renovate pebble mill. the bbc owns buildings of a similar age to pebble mill, and they are not falling down, because they are in london.

Lovely Memories...haven't really watched (or should I say been able to watch) Midlands Today since East Midlands Today broke away X number of years ago...great to see Kay, Sue Beardsmore, Alan Towers again, also a touching reminder of those days off school ill watching Pebble Mill at One.

I think they should have a DVD made of Pebble Mill & it's history, like the BBC News At 50 years. I would get it!!

Just what I was thinking... although I imagine if they were going to produce one it'd have been out by now.
