It'd be so much sleeker if it were all done regionally - that was a mess.

And the Midlands bit was just a carbon copy of the "national" bit - even the way Suzanne acted.

Overall: Confused

bbc mids launched the child rescue alert today - with this example of how it would look during flog it.

wonder how it'd work on central - given that they have to be opted out by LNN

Maybe Central would send their aston on a blue background to London and that could be keyed on top of the output?

So smooth!
I can just imagine the disaster a Hull version would be - we'd switch aspect ratio about 4 times in the 90 seconds for a start.

Not bad IMO.

Would I be correct in thinking the Mailbox opts themselves out first, & has it's own link to N6, so the thing seems smoother at this stage, but if it goes national, everyone would opt out of London as usual, increasing the risk of foul ups?

Central West, Central South-West and Central East are played out from Leeds.

Central South (Thames Valley North) is played out by the South Bank.

I don't know, are you confused? Central still have studios in Birmingham, but the physical broadcasting of the channel to the central region comes from Leeds.

Except for Central South which has been played out by the South Bank since the Thames Valley pseudo-region was created.

That's because the Whitely circuit goes into the South Bank, so they control both the Hannington and Oxford transmitter feeds.

It's easier (and cheaper) to dual feed the occasional "Central" regional programme to both the South Bank and Leeds for playout, rather than dual feed every single news bulletin, so Central South (Thames Valley North) is played out by the South Bank.
