Wolves v West Brom on FM, while the St Paddy's parade coverage is on Dab & online, then everybody back together at 3pm for a hour of Chinnie down the pub, then more Brolly between 4 & 7, then the usual split at 7pm with Nikki Tapper Gospel on FM, with the WCR boys & girls on Dab & online, then back together at 8pm with more Nikki Tapper, then Wilkesy from 10pm with the Soul & Motown, & finally 'Your Space' at 12 midnight!

ignore the others, post them, its interesting for those of us outside the midlands
post what?
since when did bob warman work on a saturday?? there was a time when you'd never see bob lowering himself to the late evening bulletins!
He's has done a few pan-regional bulletins since the weekend joint CNE/CNW bulletins started. Either he or Chris James fill in for Llewella, but of late they have used other presenters too to sit in for her too.
Re the Global Warming thing at the moment, someone rang Doolan this morning, to ask if the Beeb were promoting about switching things off when not in use, why did they have several telly screens saying 'Midlands Today' in the studio?
(Obviously they're on about the row of plasmas in the newsroom!)
Doolan did agree up to a point admittedly.
When the guy asked why the screens all said 'Midlands Today' anyway, 'Can't they remember where they work?', Doolan jokily replied 'Well Nick's knocking on a bit now! You should see him at the end of the day sometimes!
It's still on today's 'Listen Again', during the first half hour if you want to have a listen!
Mollie's off, so today it was Nikki Tapper. My response was to retune to Ian on Radio Shropshire!
Keith Middleton was in for Les on Saturday & Danny Kelly today.

Well, the new Midlands Today studio has a giant glass wall as one side of it looking out across the new newsroom and to the canalside bit of the Mailbox beyond...
... and you'll be able to pop in and see the gallery through windows from the public areas at mailbox (as well as many of the radio studios).
A: Old news
B: Been there

as our rather odd friend alluded to above - there was an odd junction at 6pm. the ident failed to play, so we were left with a grey screen then a crash back to the london ident.
Well done to the students in the Chemistry clip on MT last night....poor souls must've seen that experiment a dozen times already this year, yet still looked enthusiastic !
whilst driving this evening i was lucky enough to stumble upon doolan's the other side of peter harris (which i think was originally scheduled for the friday when brum was snowed in).
fantastic programme - great to hear the memories of someone who really was at the heart of the midlands television during its golden age. he worked on bullseye, central weekend, tiswas, family fortunes, spitting image and the muppets amongst other things.
well worth a listen when it gets repeated on wm or bbc 7 (sadly its not on listen again).
