Wasn't that the name of a girl band back in the late 80's? Laughing

It's Doolan's Xmas Party from Symphony Hall tomorrow, with the great & good popping in to wish us, the great unwashed, a Merry Xmas! Rolling Eyes

And, for the benefit of any oldies on TVF, who have no clue about the present-day school year-groups numbering system....

"Year 7" is usually the first year of "senior school", so to speak (i.e. High School, Comprehensive School, etc). "Year 11" is the final year of compulsary education, when GCSEs are taken.

In case you're now wondering, I'm 26 (just), and took my GCSEs in 1997.

Anyone listen to Doolan then.

The usual suspects. Various WM presenters(Janice Long & Phil Upton making their Symphony Hall show debut.), Brian Conley(in panto in Brum again!), Don McClean, who was funny for once, especially about the Welsh !

Mollie now has 8 cats by the way. (Hate to think how much she's spending on cat food & vet bills etc!)

Talking about Brian Conley, he was Nick 'Meets' guest tonight on MT, complete with old clip of Nick with hair on LWT's Brian Conley show.

The staff canteen at the Mailbox is undergoing a bit of a facelift - not sure whether this means the balcony is temporarily out of bounds, but there are some changes going on anyway!
