The NEW Central West and BBC Midlands thread

It's Midlands Today, but since it's summer (with hot temps!!) it feels like somewhere in Spain, for for fun/gimmick they renamed it Mediterranean today.

Shefali & Sarah presented tonights 6:30. Could this of been Midlands Todays first female duo programme since... well ever? Put nicely by Simon as the Spice Girls.

in the Midlands Today studio?

Yeah They said about it on the lunchtime adition. they had to go on the balcony to present the news due to the leak.

It's lucky they didn't stay in the studio really - the most wooden presenter in the history of the programme who was on at lunchtime would have warped terribly in the damp.

who was the presenter at lunchtime today, watched it back on the bbc website and they refered to her as emma, it wasnt emma north, just wondering who it was as she didnt introduce herself,

yeah sarah is much better at presenting than shefali, who seems to put a half a***d effort into everything.

oh I never realised they had their own presenters on the local things. I thought they just reused the MT people.

I must admit my first thought was 'The One Show' had taken over the studio for rehersals.

Was there any affect to WM by the way?

(I expect Mollie to have a comment tomorrow, especially if I take the p !)
