Well Tony Butler (& Mark Regan) are back from Germany where they've spent the last few weeks following the England team especially for BBC WM.

If I'm not mistaken, this is Goldie's last week on Breakfast, before 'me' Daz Hale takes over for a few weeks prior to Phil Upton taking over permantly.

Les Ross returns from his train spotting holiday next weekend.

Malcolm Boyden returns for 9 weeks only, taking over the sports show from Daz & Tony, from next week.

Great Mollie 'moment' this morning as she revealed she was taking part in a activity day with some friends on Wednesday, doing clay pigeon shooting(& she an animal rights nut too !), driving JCBs & the piece de resistance, driving a tank !

This provided a moment of wonder in various quaters, including Mollie herself, whether she'd fit into the tank itself, including her 'bazoomas' !

(Watching the CIN thing, she's a big girl isn't she ISTR !)

i just presumed it was a news 24 sting they'd "borrowed".

oh and don't forget to email in regarding david gregory's legs - i'm not sure the world is ready to see them, although i bet they'd go down a storm with the farmers at the royal show.

Hi there...

just wondering, was that music in your clip youve uploaded played on midlands today?

its a peice from the ending of the countdown music on news24 where they cut to the opening headlines at the top of the hour in each bulletin

The company I work for used to deal with Sela.

I might have a listen next week for old times sake.

Will he know whether he's at the 'Co-op or the Home & Colonial' ? Laughing

Mollie seems to be mysteriously missing at the moment, after doing Monday's show, being replaced by Nikki Tapper, who's totally boring me to tears, so I retuned to Radio Shropshire & Mr Perry for a change, for some 'heads down no nonsense boogie' !

Bit more info about the 'Summer' Breakfast Show.

It's a double act of Daz Hale & the recently wed Jo Tidman, which probably means there might be a regular handover link between Jo & Mollie.(Regular 'Early Show' listeners will remember Mollie, Jo & Jane France's regular 'chewing the fat', after the 6am bulletin.

The Wolverhampton City Show is on this weekend, & apparantly WM is down there, but is this more WCR than WM, as there is extensive DAB coverage as well. (Remember a couple of years ago, when something similar was mentioned on the forum? Maybe Mr B & his mate the rabbit man from Tiswas are involved?)

It must be a bit of library music doing the rounds. I remember BBC Radio Sheffield were using it for a while on a promo. I don't suppose anyone knows which library it comes from?
