Oh dear, the pirates are striking again!

Parts of Brum are being affected by pirates on frequencies close to 95.6fm, so, according to Franksy, OFCOM are on the case!

There was a Keith Beech phone in on Doolan's show on Friday, but I missed it, 'cos I was at work.

(did text Mollie to say 'Why can't Beech do his phone ins on one of the weekends shows. We all can't listen to Doolan!')

WM had a fans forum on tonight(recorded last night!).

If you're quick & probably lucky, you might still see clips of it on the infamous 'Local TV' service, during the Birmingham section at the top of the hour, featuring the likes of Franks, Regan, Hale & OK OK Tony Butler!

(By the way, the person who texted Mollie just after 5am this morning & said 'Are you on day release?' was not me, in case anyone was wondering? 'How rude !' )

The ITV Central News using new opening shot on bulletins recentley. Strange one, giving that there are much better shots set up they could use.

I see 'The School Of Rock' results have been delayed, due to volume of votes or summat.

Did I read that Beacon's getting in on the act too, with their own 'School Of Rock' style contest ?

Big Brother's on again, so Mollie's discussing it with Jane each morning, also the first of her metal detecting slots started on Monday, courtesy of the Bloxwich Metal Detecting Club !

The WM summer schedules have started to kick in.

I think Keith Middleton's doing Saturday afternoons, while the 2 footy phone ins on Fridays on WM & CWR have been replaced by a cricket programme on both stations.

Anybody able to take caps of the titles for Central West and Midlands Today? Cheers!

Things didn't kick off at WM until about 530am Tuesday morning, due to a technical problem, so we had an extra bit of 5Live.

Everybody was texting in 'Where are you Mollie?', including yours truly.

Some wags were texting 'Were you getting engrossed in Big Brother ?'

I did text in to say, 'Couldn't you get the back up tape working?', but that was too technical for Mollie, with her reply along the lines of 'I've got men running round!', but ironically Marverine Cole(the duty newsreader) apparantly fixed it!

(TV M - I gather the Badger woman was on the breakfast show & Mollie 'greeted' her in her own special way. I gather a similar greeting to Tony Blair a few years back got her a b***king !)

Oh & The School Of Rock finally has announced the winner, but I can't remember who it was, or care !

James Wright presenting Central News today. Has he done any news presenting for Central News or Wales News before, does anyone know?

He has never presented the news on ITV Wales, just the weather.

He often presents CN East @ 11:00 or 13:10, when Steve or Sameena aren't doing it. He's very good at it IMO, quite witty. He occasionally stands in for Chaz and Em if they aren't available for Central Weather.

Interesting to see Sharuna Saga on Look North (East & Cumbria) - has she left Midlands Today?
