Also the backdrop is terrible once again now its dark.

I like it dark, picture quality looks better, and the view at daylight is nasty, too down in a dip. Plus, have they had a smaller screen behind? The sofa reached right to the end of the screen now making it look really small, but before you could see the poles holding the screen up. Better before. The darker background also matches nicely with the colour of the studio.

Well, Well, Well, look what the DOG dragged in. Central News South now has an annoying DOG on the screen like the others. What have we done to deserve this? Evil or Very Mad

[Tumble weed slowly enters the tread, moving forward before retreating]

Matrix: Well according to the Reader Disgest Brum is offically the rudest city in the UK

[Face drops, Have you not been to London expression?]

Matrix: The weather graphics have gone hyper, again, although they do seem to the moving about alot more now, but trying to watch a half screen when there been speed up is an experience.
A few problems tonight, namly a very weird report feature a weather graphic and voice from no-where, of to more precise, someone played with the audio on the report...

But how can I complain, particually when they even get in some breakdown music and my beloved Shrewsbury.

[Turns and bows to mass audience...]

Had a flick through the Radio Times & WM changes of note next week :

No more Gaunt Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy (Tony Butler listed instead on Saturday!)
(Gaunt now doing Saturday 10 till 1 on C&W instead !)

Doolan still on holiday. (This week Trish AdontDont was doing the show, next week it's Nick Owen! Does that mean he's doing both telly & radio next week, or it's Mike Collie on telly instead?)

Due to the rioting in Lozells in Brum last night, it looks like WM replaced it’s normal Saturday evening programming, certainly after 8pm, with a phone in on the situation , with Mike Rimmer, running up to 12am, then swopping to 5 live, which was coming from Brum at that time anyway, mixing more discussion on the situation, with something else, until just before 1am, when ‘Up All Night’ came on & started banging on about baseball (Yawn).

Normally on WM, it runs 8pm to 11pm with the discussion prog, then Ben ‘The B ‘ Turner(met him once at the Wolverhampton show!) between 11pm & 1am.

One of the BBC reporters, Anna Cunningham, got injured, in the line of duty, after filing a report, plus another reporter, Phil Mackie, got his car attacked.

(Is Adrian Goldberg the duty senior presenter on call at weekends, as he was involved again last night, as he was during the recent Brum bomb scare. It’s a bit much IMO, bearing in mind he’s doing the Politics Show on Sundays as well! Not much chance of a kip is there!)

Talking of the Politics Show, apart from Jon Sopel’s trip across the pond, to interview both Jack Straw & Condoleeza Rice(I cannot take to that woman, & before anyone says otherwise, no I’m not racist !! It’s the moron she works for !), Goldie presided over a discussion in the studio, including a local black leader, a local black Brum City councillor & local MP Khalid Mahmood, who, according to the ‘Sunday Mercury’, is refusing to comment on dodgy voting allegations!

Pat Burns on location, in Lozells, also talking to local people as well.

only caught the end of the special central news with bob - i presume it replaced "our house"? full marks to central for being so quick off the mark.

i haven't been near a tv all day, but, please dont tell me bbc mids' effort consists of 15 min during the politics show and a 5 min news bulletin nearly 24 hours after the event?

Why, Oh why is Mrs Drab, Herself (Sarah Folkland) on air so often?

She's just sucked the life, Sorry, presented the Lunchtime bulletin and would a section of the above explain why she's on? Sorry,
I just wanted Shef to come and slap her round the face with a giant fish.

Anyone see 'One year at the Mailbox'?

They even included that clip of that woman behind Sarah Faulkland !

Mollie said she broke her flask (again!), so she was having to resort to the Beeb's vending machine, but she was 1p short of a cup of coffee!

Could be worse, she could be 2 sandwiches short of a picnic ! Laughing

(Only joking Mollie, if you hear about this!)
