Well I'm listening to Coventry & Warwickshire via the online feed.

Verdict so far : V.Good, even though Gaunt's full of himself as usual!

Tony Butler was in for Gaunt on 95.6 today as well!

I'll be intrigued to see how the station does, because people were moaning about the loss of the station first time round & losing their favorite presenters, but now, according to various forums, a few listeners weren't happy about losing Doolan.

Re my previous post, I was wrong about Alan starting a week earlier. I misunderstood what Mollie was wittering about.

It looks like travel presentation will now be done 'in house', with Mollie mentioning that Jane would be doing the travel on her show from Monday, & the newsreader(in this case Shabina, who managed to cock it up too! ) reading it out this morning.

How come ?

Like how WM is using the TOTH in conjunction with the travel jingle.

TVM might not have CWR on BBC B, but I have BBC LN on BBC B if you set the VCR at the TOTH next time you can catch the ABC.

embarrassingly i forgot to set the vid too interesting to note the jostling for position that went on prior to the launch - about who would be THE first voice. somebody who shall remain nameless, for the sake of this post we shall call her "mrs o." insisted she was the big name and voice of the station. i didn’t listen in the end so i didn’t get to hear who won.

oh and lets not even start on how much it cost them to come up with the name "bbc coventry and warwickshire".

and notice the new complete on-air ban on the words "accross the west midlands and warwickshire" and "bbc wm and bbc coventry and warwickshire" during shared programming. its now "on the bbc". sounds v. odd.

nice to see MT doing most of the show with satnam, peter and shefali from the roof of the bbc horsefair car park this evening.
