but why did they need to presenting back in the sudio? seems pointless as they wernt in more then 50% of the programe and only had a couple of reports.
i guess theyd have presenters standing by in the studio anyway incase the OB goes down, so it makes sense to introduce the newsround up from there.

with the mini tornado in brum this afternoon, lets hope midlands today do an over the top "Earthquake Special" type programme tonight - as they did after the dudley earthquake.

I feel like i'm missing out on the fun.

By the time I put Central News on, they'd gone off the tornado and the silly lincs weather blocked the sky dish up!

GMTV were flying the flag for Central the other morning, when those kings heath terrorists (ho ho, how unusual) got arrested, crediting the reporter as coming from "Central Television" on the aston!

Believe me it's no fun. I'm in a street still closed off from damage, we raced home tonight as we saw the substantial damage to buildings 100m away on pictures on the web. Fortunately our house is ok as the tornado turned the other way over the main road. A friend in Moseley has lost all the front windows though.

The terror arrests were in Small Heath by-the-way, not Kings Heath.

Suzanne's been back for a week now!

I did mention it last week!

Les Ross is sitting in for Danny Kelly, reversing the arrangement from a few weeks back, when Danny sat in for Les on Sundays. (According to my boss, this is the first time Les has done a proper daytime show, unless anyone knows different) & a 7 day stint for Les too(?)

Trish Adudu continues to sit in for Paul Franks, while next Saturday is Tony Butler's last sit in for Gaunty, then he's back the week after. Sad

Keith Middleton has been sitting in for both Daz Hale & Danny Kelly, at some point over the past few weeks, which will please the Keithy Boy fan club on both Digital Spy & UK Radio.Com.

Anyone know where Sally James is now broadcasting, or is she concentrating on the school uniform business she's run for the past few years?

Is it me or has Micheal changed his hair style? Maybe he's had it like that for a while and I haven't noticed, but it doesn't seem to be as brushed back as it used to be.
