That set with a few moderations would be a good breakfast set....

I did have to laugh at the way Andrew Marr bounded out of the door and down the steps and when he asked Moira what the main story was. It didn't seem to work because there was a pause before Moira responded and she didn't really say it in a conversational tone which Andrew had introduced it with.

Yeah, it was a shame, I think Moira can't have been expecting it because she ad-libs with the Breakfast presenters all the time, only last Tuesday she was joking with Dermot ans Sian after the story about not smiling on passports.

To me it seems alot like the WB11 Morning News set, in New York. Just has the same idea and objects ect

Yep - though more GMTV than BBC Breakfast...

James Hall - I think the Vote 2001 theme tune would be superb for Sunday AM. It would fit in brilliantly!

It's now obvious that the background for the BBC NEWS on BBC ONE is fake, as the background studio magically appeared in the Sunday AM studio as well with Moira. Obviously fake.

Looks more like the News 24 studio background to me...

When was the last time you saw BBC One news? It is the N6 Background.

Evidentally Chris you don't watch the national news much as you'd know the background changed fairly recently from this:

to this:

And just to prove it's virtual:

I reversed it so you can read the text.

That's a quite glorious expression you've captured there of our chancellor.

Was he being asked about John Humpreys at the time?

It looks like he's going to make us an offer we can't refuse!! Wink

New backdrop for Moira this week:

The BBC demonstrates how to recycle effectively.

She looks quite at "home" with that new backdrop and her old, familiar podium desk that she uses every other day on Breakfast. Good old Moira!

And I agree that this set actually WOULD be quite good for Breakfast!
