It's now obvious that the background for the BBC NEWS on BBC ONE is fake, as the background studio magically appeared in the Sunday AM studio as well with Moira. Obviously fake.

Gosh! Shocked

does anyone think that the Vote 2001 music would make a good "Sunday Morning Show" theme at all?

It sounds very much like a modern fusion of the various Breakfast themes before the pips. Very nice.

Can anyone remember it/what it was called?

Well certainly has more enrergy to it than Breakfast with Frost, not sure about the set and titles.
'Moria whats todays Headline?'
'Aftermath of Todays Rioting in Northern Ireland'
That bit seemed a bit deadpan to me could just be my hangover thou.
I Think it was a mistake to show News24Sunday on BBC1 they should have had a summer break then go into this show.
Well done Andrew a good show that will have the longetivity of Breakfast with Frost.
Is that his car featured in the titles? if so my mum has one and they are bloody awfull to drive.

It does seam to be a clone of the Frost programme. Same type of set, with Sir Davids regency lounge replaced by Andrews penthouse flat. Both have a convenient Newsroom built in the alcove. And whats with the audience? Does Andrew always have people in to watch him eating his cornflakes. Same old guests,. Surely they could have found a fresher face than Ann Leslie to do the paper review. Same running order. Same soft interviews. Opportunity missed for a bright new show.

The only thing that makes it more interesting than Frost is the fact that Andrew Marr puts so much energy into the programme and doesn't pause after every couple of words like Frost always seemed to do. I did have to laugh at the way Andrew Marr bounded out of the door and down the steps and when he asked Moira what the main story was. It didn't seem to work because there was a pause before Moira responded and she didn't really say it in a conversational tone which Andrew had introduced it with.

well it's the same studio, so they wouldn't want to shell out on a new desk.

That's a quite glorious expression you've captured there of our chancellor.

Was he being asked about John Humpreys at the time?
